Prime Minister Narendra Modi today lashed out at the Congress party, saying the party had adopted a “grab east” policy, which the BJP had converted into an “act east” policy.

Addressing an election rally here, the Prime Minister said Tripura has witnessed path-breaking changes under the BJP government.

“The Congress adopted a ‘Plunder East’ policy and the BJP converted it into an ‘Act East’ policy,” Prime Minister Modi said, adding that the great old party had not done justice to the Northeast, and turned the region into a “Act East” policy. ‘have of brastachar (center of corruption) while the communists ruined the country’s prospects.

The Prime Minister said his government is focusing on strengthening connectivity in the Northeast.

“The state’s highways will be revamped at a cost of Rs 3,000 crore and the Feni Bridge connecting Bangladesh to Sabroom subdivision in South Tripura has been completed. Electrification of railway tracks is progressing,” he said.

“Earlier, mobile towers were not working in the state, but now efforts are being made to improve 5G connectivity. The Modi government has reduced mobile charges to around Rs 400-500 per month. If Congress comes to power, your mobile bill will It’s Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000,” he said.

Taking a dig at the Congress and CPI(M), the Prime Minister said: “Congress Yuvraj was critical of the use of investigative agencies and is now demanding the arrest of the Kerala Chief Minister on corruption charges. No corrupt element will be impeached. Arrest. “Survived,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi termed the achievements of the government in the past decade as a teaser and said the people will achieve more if the party is elected to power.

The Prime Minister said that free ration will be provided to all without any discrimination in the next five years.
