Cold conditions persist in Rajasthan; The mercury dropped below 10 degrees Celsius at many places.

The Meteorological Department said Rajasthan is in the grip of cold and the minimum temperature dropped below 10 degrees Celsius at many places on Saturday morning.

It said the weather remained mostly dry across the state with very dense morning fog at some places. According to the weather bulletin, Sirohi was the coldest in the state on Saturday morning with a minimum temperature of 5.1 degrees Celsius.

Sikar recorded a minimum temperature of 5.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Pilani at 5.3 degrees Celsius, Jaipur at 5.8 degrees Celsius, Anta at 6 degrees Celsius and Alwar, Churu and Fatehpur at 6.2 degrees Celsius.
