New Delhi:
OpenAI, run by Sam Altman, said Friday it has made its artificial intelligence chatbot, called ChatGPT, more direct and concise.
In a post on the X social media platform, the company said its new GPT-4 Turbo model is now available to ChatGPT paid users.
“We improve writing, math, logical reasoning and coding skills,” the company said.
The new AI model has been trained on publicly available data up to December.
“Responses will be more direct, concise, and use more conversational language when writing with ChatGPT,” OpenAI said.
The company said it will continue to invest in improving its artificial intelligence models and looks forward to seeing how users use them.
“If you haven’t tried it yet, GPT-4 Turbo is available in ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and API,” it added.
Meanwhile, the AI company allegedly transcribed more than 1 million hours of YouTube videos to train GPT-4.
The New York Times reported last week that OpenAI knew it was illegal but “believed it was a fair use.”
An OpenAI spokesperson said the company uses “numerous sources, including public data and non-public data partners” to maintain its global research competitiveness.
