OpenAI has introduced major changes by improving the accessibility of its conversational AI chatbot ChatGPT. As part of the new announcement, users will be able to access ChatGPT without logging in from their account. This means that people who want to use the chatbot don’t have to bother creating an account to use its features. However, this new move has both advantages and disadvantages, as some ChatGPT functionality will be limited for people using the tool without logging in. Learn more about this new initiative from OpenAI.

OpenAI makes ChatGPT easier to use

According to the OpenAI blog postal, ChatGPT will not require an account login, and users can start using the chatbot directly. This is done to increase the accessibility of the tool and allow more users to take advantage of artificial intelligence. OpenAI says: “Central to our mission is to make tools like ChatGPT widely available so that people can experience the benefits of artificial intelligence.” However, your conversions with the AI will still be recorded to train its models. But the good news is that ChatGPT users can still choose to exclude chats from training AI models. To opt out of training the AI model, users can simply go to ChatGPT settings and turn off the feature to keep conversations private.

On the other hand, ChatGPT users without an account will not be able to use features such as saving or sharing chat history, utilizing custom commands, chat history, etc. However, the new version will use the GPT-3.5 model similar to the account version. These features are only available to users logged into their OpenAI account. In addition, OpenAI also introduces content protection features such as stricter content filters, blocking tips, etc. to maintain the tool’s policies. However, OpenAI has not yet clarified what security features will be included in the deregistered version of ChatGPT.
