California student slaps female teacher, classmates laugh: Video

A California high school student has been detained after “disturbing video” of him assaulting his female class teacher went viral on social media. In the video, the student, who is allegedly a minor, can be seen confronting the teacher and violently attacking her.

Despite being repeatedly beaten, the teacher seemed unfazed and calmly responded to the student’s verbal and physical attacks.

“Do you think this affected me?” the teacher is heard saying to the accused student after the initial impact. In response, the boy asked, “Do you want me to hit you again?” and slapped the educator a second time, knocking her glasses off.

Students who filmed the incident responded to the slaps with laughter and captured the assault in the classroom on camera.

The Forsyth Sheriff’s Office said shortly after the video went viral that the accused student was charged with three misdemeanors, including assault on a government official, communicating threats and two counts of misdemeanor assault.
