Bridgend woman admits hiding birth of two babies

A woman has admitted concealing the birth of two babies in Bridgend.

Egle Zilinskaite, 30, of Cruys Road, Cardiff, also admitted two counts of preventing a lawful and dignified burial of a body.

The babies were found dead in November 2022 at an address in Maes-Y-Felin, Bridgendville.

These fees are valid from January 1, 2017 to November 26, 2022.

The babies were called Baby A and Baby B in court.

Zilvinas Ledovskis, 49, of Phoebe Road, Swansea, has pleaded not guilty to all charges and will stand trial later this year.

exist cardiff At a hearing at the Crown Court on Wednesday, the defendants confirmed their names, dates of birth and addresses through a Lithuanian interpreter before entering their respective pleas.

Both defendants were released on bail.

Ledovskis will go on trial on November 25.
