Beyoncé recently shared insights into her upcoming music album, Act Two: Cowboy Carter on social media.
The music icon gave a glimpse into her tracklist on Wednesday by posting a photo of all the song titles on Instagram, which looks like a vintage concert poster.
The post also revealed a cover of a Dolly Parton song Qiao Lin Also included in the list. Not only that, but the song title appears next to the singer’s image, and the bottom of the flyer also features content courtesy of KNTRY Texas radio station.
In addition to Dolly, Willie Nelson’s smoking time Also appears in the list.
Beyoncé said last week that she had “some surprises and collaborations with artists that I deeply respect” with her fans on the photo-sharing app.
Earlier, the songstress expressed her gratitude to the Bey Hive for their support of her latest single and explained what inspired her to create a new album.
Beyoncé mentioned in her IG post, “This stems from an unwanted experience I had years ago.”
“Obviously I’m not. However, as a result of this experience, I have learned more about the history of country music and researched our rich musical archives,” the Lemonade singer said.
“It’s wonderful to see how music unites so many people around the world while also amplifying the voices of some who have dedicated their lives to educating us about the history of our music,” Beyoncé said.
Reflecting on the criticism, the singer added: “When I first entered the genre, I was faced with situations that forced me to transcend the limitations imposed on me. The second act was the result of challenging myself and taking the time to blend different genres Together, we created this work.”
