Ben Affleck is surprised that his wife and singer Jennifer Lopez has decided to publicly display all of the actor’s love letters to her. Lopez, who is preparing to release her Amazon Prime documentary “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story,” reportedly sold the letters to the music director as inspiration for the upcoming project. The film is set to premiere on February 16, which also marks the release date of JLo’s long-awaited ninth studio album, This Is Me…Now. This Is Me…Now: A Love Story will showcase Lopez’s journey of love, loss and healing, focusing on her past relationships.

According to Variety, in a preview of the documentary, Jennifer Lopez invited the musician to her residence. The singer and actress provided them with a love letter she received from Ben Affleck. In a sudden turn of fate, Affleck walked in at this moment, only to find the letter being “circulated.” The “Gone Girl” actor previously titled the pile of love letters “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.” Afflecks witnessed this in amazement, speaking to the camera: “I do find beauty and poetry and irony in the fact that this is the greatest love story that’s ever been told. If you’re recording this, then It’s kind of like telling it.”

In the trailer for This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, Jennifer Lopez is seen sitting on a couch next to a fireplace, soaked from the rain. She was reading a letter dated December 24, 2002, which read: “Life is hard, but you are sweet. Thank you for the gift. Hope you enjoy the flowers. You told me you will never be satisfied . I believe you.” Although there is no indication that the note was written by Ben Affleck, there is a signature at the bottom of the letter by someone with the initials “B.” It indirectly suggests that it comes from Affleck.
