Armenia is ideally placed to offer India an alternative maritime trade route, especially with Europe, the country’s Labor and Social Affairs Minister Narek Mkrtchyan said on the sidelines of the ninth edition of the Raisina Dialogue in the national capital on Wednesday.
“The Armenian government is committed to building partnerships in key regional and global projects such as the North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC), the Gulf Black Sea Transport and Transit Corridor and the Chabahar port development, which is a collaborative effort between India and Iran,” The minister told ANI on the sidelines of the event.

The minister also pitched for collaboration with India on Artificial Intelligence (AI) through a global alliance, where ministers from both countries can consult and accelerate investments for AI.
He said, “There is potential to collaborate on AI for social good to address areas such as healthcare, agriculture and environmental protection planning. We will also potentially create a global AI innovation platform to facilitate sharing of solutions and research.” Can also be installed.”
