A farmhouse operator was allegedly beaten to death over a parking dispute in Gurgaon’s Baliwas village, while seven others were seriously injured and rushed to hospital, police said on Monday.

The deceased Praveen was the operator of Oasis Garden at the farmhouse. The 40-year-old man was rushed to hospital after the attack but died during treatment, the news agency reported. PTI As the police said.

Gajender was one of the seven injured and is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of Delhi’s AIIMS in critical condition.

Police said the incident took place on Saturday night when a group of youths who had arrived at the farmhouse to celebrate a birthday party got into an argument with some locals over parking.

Around 11:30 p.m., some people hailed a taxi to go home. Meanwhile, four youths from the neighboring village of Bandhwari drove to the farmhouse in a drunken state, police said, adding that a fight broke out among them.

Soon, a dozen young people arrived at the farmhouse. They first beat students in the parking lot, then entered the farmhouse with sticks and beat the operator of the farmhouse.

The farmhouse is jointly run by Naresh Kumar, Praveen Dhull and Narveer Dagar, all residents of Ramrai village in Jind district of Haryana.

An FIR on charges of murder and attempt to murder was filed at the DLF Phase 1 police station in the matter based on a complaint by Naresh Kumar, another farmhouse operator, and other sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Other divisions include 148 (rioting, carrying a deadly weapon), 149 (unlawful assembly) and 323 (intentional injury).

The Sikandarpur Crime Branch arrested two persons, Sachin and Ashish, from Bandhwali village in connection with the incident on Sunday night, police said.

Sikandarpur crime branch chief Satender Rawal said: “During interrogation, we found that an argument over parking escalated into a brawl. We are conducting raids to arrest others. defendant.”
