The Princess of Wales was pictured leaving Windsor with Prince William after Kate sparked controversy by admitting she “edited” a Mother’s Day photo.

Kensington Palace said the Princess of Wales and the Prince of Wales left together in a car as William was flown to London for a Commonwealth Day ceremony.

Kate did not attend the funeral but is understood to have had a private appointment.

The Associated Press told Sky News the photo showed “Princess Charlotte’s left hand is inconsistently aligned”.

This photo was posted in celebration of Mother’s Day.
