The Princess of Wales was pictured leaving Windsor with Prince William after Kate sparked controversy by admitting she “edited” a Mother’s Day photo.

Kensington Palace said the Princess of Wales and the Prince of Wales left together in a car as William was flown to London for a Commonwealth Day ceremony.

Kate did not attend the funeral but is understood to have had a private appointment.

On Sunday, multiple photo agencies circulated the image ahead of Reuters, AP, Getty Images and AFP. Tell media outlets to “delete” the photo from their systems and archives.

The Associated Press told Sky News the photo showed “Princess Charlotte’s left hand is inconsistently aligned”.

This photo was posted in celebration of Mother’s Day.

There has been speculation about Kate’s health since her brief stay in hospital for abdominal surgery in January.
