Apple is said to be exploring the possibility of the company getting into home robotics, shortly after the company canceled a project to develop a self-driving car. According to Bloomberg, the company is developing two robotic devices designed for indoor use. Earlier this year, the company began selling the Vision Pro mixed reality headset, its first new product since the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015.

according to ReportThe iPhone maker is reportedly developing two potential products. The first is a robotic device that sits on top of the desk and uses robotics to move the monitor. A second product, also in development, is a mobile robot that can follow the user around the house. These products are reportedly not yet ready for launch, but the former is said to be at a more advanced stage than mobile robots.

Hardware development for the robotics project is reportedly being overseen by Matt Costello and Brian Lynch, Apple executives responsible for the company’s home products. The company is said to be looking for its next product to generate additional revenue, following the launch of the Apple Vision Pro earlier this year.

The Bloomberg report also noted that Apple plans to adopt a three-pronged strategy for new products in the next few years. One of those projects—a self-driving car that was reportedly in development for more than a decade—has been canceled, while the company continues to focus on smart home and mixed reality products, such as the first-generation Apple Vision Pro.

The rumored Apple robot product, which could compete with existing products from the likes of Amazon, will be priced at $1,599 (roughly Rs. 1.33 lakh) and will be available by invitation only Astro Robot This is available in the United States. Apple has not yet revealed any plans to develop or sell smart home products equipped with robot features. The company is known for keeping its products and services secretive until they are ready to be announced. It is possible that these initial devices will never be sold by the company. .
