India batsman Suryakumar Yadav continues his dominance in the T20I batsmen’s rankings, while Bangladesh’s fast bowler Taskin Ahmed and spinner Mahedi Hasan have been rewarded for their good form against Zimbabwe by making big strides in the latest ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings. Suryakumar tops the rankings for T20I batsmen with 861 points, while England batsman Phil Salt is second behind the India batsman with 802 points. Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s veteran batsman Mahmudullah jumped two places to 81st in the same list, while India’s dynamo Suryakumar Yadav slipped in the T20I batsmen’s rankings.

Taskin, who took six wickets at a modest average of just 8.83 in the three matches against Zimbabwe, moved up six places to 26th in the latest T20I bowler rankings and achieved a new career-high rating.

After taking three wickets in two matches against Zimbabwe, 29-year-old Mahedi also moved up six places to 22nd position in the same list.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe’s right-arm fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani has jumped five places to 69th in the T20I bowlers’ list thanks to his four wickets so far against Bangladesh.

23-year-old right-handed batsman Tauheed Hridoy has moved from outside the top 100 to 90th in the T20I rankings thanks to his 127 runs and two unbeaten innings against Zimbabwe. He is currently the leading run-scorer of the series in the first three matches in Bangladesh.

Veteran Bangladeshi batsman Mahmudullah has moved up two places to 81st in the same list, but India’s superstar Suryakumar is much ahead in the rankings for T20I batsmen.
