Anne Hathaway reveals she hasn’t seen her iconic 2006 film yet The Devil Wears Prada More than twenty years.

in conversation vanity fair, princess diary The actress made the surprising confession after watching her character Andy’s iconic Office scene with Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestley.

She shared: “Just so you understand, all of you have seen this movie more recently than I have. It’s been probably twenty years, if not over a decade, since I’ve seen this movie, so it’s been really cool . ”

Additionally, Anne raved about the veteran actress and her co-star Meryl, as well as her work ethic.

“I was there when Meryl first walked onto that set, and I saw that she respected the work of our production designers, but also liked to make it more like the way she saw the character,” she said.

Anne added that she acts like a “sponge around” the versatile actress as she “just wants to soak up everything” about Meryl’s work.

Talking about the deep impression the movie left on her, Anne said that she felt The Devil Wears Prada would be popular, but “I didn’t realize it would leave such a legacy.”
