Amyra Dastur says her off-screen image often makes directors underestimate her: ‘Main kehte hoon suno main kar liya hai’

Amyra’s character in Jogi is Kammo Jogi’s college mate and later girlfriend. The character appears extensively in a single flashback in the middle of the film, centered around the song Tafriyaan. The actress says she had no objection to playing a small role. “I’ve never been one who thinks that way. I think people will remember even a minute role when it’s impressive. So, my issues will never be about screen time or amount of lines. My full focus is on the role.” The effect will be there. It should be left to the audience with that memory.
