The all-new Jawa 350 motorcycle features more ground clearance as well as a powerful motor.

Java Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the new Jawa 350 motorcycle in India, priced at Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

It will replace the manufacturer’s existing Java Classic model. This is a significantly upgraded Java Standard which costs around Rs 12,000 more than the base model. With a bigger engine, the retro-themed motorcycle is built on a redesigned chassis.

The Jawa 350 now has more paint options thanks to Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles. It retains the original maroon and black trims but gets a new paint job in Mystic Orange.

The new Jawa 350 motorcycle is slightly different from the previous model in terms of design. The overall look of the motorcycle is essentially unchanged, but some minor modifications give it a more aggressive and strong appearance.

The appearance of the fenders has now become more prominent. The thickness of the foam on the seat appears to have been increased, improving ride comfort. The tires encircling the multi-spoke wheels have become larger.

The classic multi-spoke wheels measuring 18 to 17 inches in diameter are still fitted on the new Jawa 350, fitted with wider tires at the front (100/90 section) and rear (130/80 section). Apart from the six-speed gearbox, the engine has a slipper clutch and this helps in better performance and seamless gear shifting.

2024 Jawa 350: Engine and dimensions

According to Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, the new Jawa 350 is heavier as it is built on a new dual-cradle chassis. To power the new Jawa 350 motorcycle, the smaller 294 cc engine has been replaced by a larger 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. A six-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch is mated to the new engine. It can produce a maximum torque of 28.2 Nm and a maximum power of 22 bhp.

The brand-new 350cc retro-themed motorcycle has been updated in terms of dimensions. It also now gets 178 mm more ground clearance, while the seat height is 790 mm. moreover; The motorcycle has a long wheelbase—1,449 mm.

The new Jawa 350 is longer and taller than the previous model, with dimensions of 1,368 mm for wheelbase, 765 mm for seat height and 165 mm for ground clearance. With a curb weight of 194 kg as opposed to 182 kg of the previous model, the new Jawa 350 is also heavier than the previous version.

The Jawa 350 competes with the Honda CB350, Hunter 350 and the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
