While Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav is busy campaigning for the party in the state, Dimple Yadav, who is contesting from the Mainpuri seat, has found a new partner – her elder daughter Aditi.

Aditi, who is studying in London, was seen accompanying Dimple Yadav in the Maipuri constituency last month and is now campaigning for her mother.

She actively followed her mother’s campaign in Mainpuri and even asked voters to support her.

As her mother delivered her speech, Aditi sat quietly on the podium, observing the atmosphere.

Aditi is also active on social media. She has 405,000 followers on Instagram and 317,100 followers on X.

When news reporters asked Dimple Aditi if she planned to enter politics, Ms Yadav said: “She comes here on vacation and children have to learn and experience everything in life. She knows what is going on around her and I am happy.”

Ms Yadav is seeking a second consecutive term in Mainpuri, a seat held by her father-in-law Mulayam Singh Yadav.

She is competing against Janata Party ministers Jaiveer Singh of the Janata Party and Gulshan Shakya of the Socialist Party of the Philippines.
