'Threaten to burn my parents': Elvish Yadav defends attack on YouTuber

Elvish responds to viral video: Elvish Yadav admits he threatened to kill Maxtern

New Delhi:

Days after a video of Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav beating up a YouTuber (Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern) went viral on social media, he defended his action in an Instagram video and said he was framed .

In a bizarre clarifying video titled “Plan First and Play Victim”, Yadav admitted to assaulting his fellow YouTuber after he allegedly threatened to “burn” Elvish Yadav alive at his home and his parents.

In the video, Yadav claimed that Maxtern has been “poking” him on social media ever since he walked out of the Bigg Boss OTT house in August last year. He said the two were even filming together during this time.

However, after eight months of being “poked” on Twitter and other platforms, Yadav said he decided to meet and talk to Marksten.

On the day of the incident, Elvish Yadav called Marksten home for a meeting. “I told him to meet me around midnight after I reach Delhi,” Yadav said in the video.

However, Yadav said Marksten further angered him by sharing screenshots of their chat on social media. “I have sent him the location of my home through WhatsApp…I told him that guests are considered God in our home and I will never beat him in my home. I told him not to be afraid…. ..,”He said.

“But Mcsten made some remarks about my family and threatened to burn me and my family alive. I insulted him and told him that I would come to see him wherever he was,” he said.

They eventually met at a clothing store owned by Marksten’s friend, Mr Yadav said, adding that he had been framed.

Yadav said cameras with microphones were hidden at different angles to capture the attack. Even Maxtern was wearing a microphone, he said, claiming the YouTuber knew what was going to happen and how he would use it on social media.

Elvish Yadav also admitted he threatened to kill Marksten but insisted it was said “in the heat of the moment”.

Yadav said the remarks against his family angered him and asked his followers to comment under the video on how they would respond to such threats.

“Should I give him a match and let him burn me and my family to death?” he said.

The YouTuber also said that he went to meet Maxtern with nine people, but added that Maxtern was not alone. Four people were with McStern, but no one came to his rescue, Yadav said, adding that his aides tried to break up the fight.

The OTT star also accused the “left” and “anti-Hindu” lobby of conspiring against him because he speaks on behalf of Hindus.

The social media conflict between two YouTubers Elvish Yadav and Maxtern turned real on Thursday, with one of them seriously injured and the other booked by the police.

The entire incident was documented on the social media pages of Mark Stern and Mr. Yadav, along with a video of Mr. Yadav and his assistant approaching Mark Stern and then beating him mercilessly in a clothing store. Someone was seen trying to break up the fight.
