Airtel International Roaming Pack
Airtel has introduced a “worldwide travel plan” starting at just Rs 133 per day. The new plans save the hassle of recharging the plan multiple times and users simply need to select their duration through the Airtel Thanks app and select the desired plan. The international roaming pack will include in-flight connectivity, 24×7 contact center support, unlimited data and more. The selected plan will be activated automatically after reaching the destination. Also, note that the same pack will work in 184 countries, hence, the user will not have to worry about constantly recharging their device.
Amit Tripathi, Director, Customer Experience and Marketing, Bharti Airtel, said, “These packs offer greater value with better benefits that are affordable compared to local in-country SIMs in many countries. The new pack truly redefines our value proposition to customers and gives them the freedom to use data and voice at affordable tariffs.”
How will users benefit from the new international roaming pack?
Earlier, international travelers had to purchase separate roaming packs due to tariffs paid in other countries. Now, with a single plan, it reduces the cost and hassle of choosing multiple plans depending on travel plans. Additionally, Airtel has also introduced an auto-renewal feature for frequent travelers, making recharge more convenient.
This plan starts at Rs 195 on the Airtel website, in which users get 100 minutes of free outgoing calls and 100 free SMS with a validity of 1 day. The highest plan is priced at Rs 2998 which is valid for 30 days and users can enjoy multiple services.
