Air India owners Tata Group have now announced a compensation of ₹ 1 crore to each passenger’s families, who have lost their lives in a deadly aircraft accident. It comes after an Air India flight near Ahmedabad Airport on 12 June, after a moment of flying to London.
The Tata group resorted to social media to post updates about compensation to families. The post reads, “We are deeply suffering from the tragic incident related to Air India Flight 171. No words can express the grief we felt at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with families who have lost their loved ones, and those who have been injured.”
“The Tata group will provide ₹ 1 crore to each individual’s families, which have lost our lives in this tragedy. We will also cover the medical expenses of the injured and ensure that they get all the necessary care and support. Also, we will provide support in the construction of the BJ Medical Hostels. We stand with the affected families and communities during this Unimagantable time.”
