On Tuesday (February 27) at the 2024 World Mobile Communications Conference (MWC) in Barcelona, the Nubia Flip 5G was released as the first foldable smartphone of ZTE’s own brand. This clamshell foldable phone features a 6.9-inch foldable OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. Nubia Flip 5G is equipped with a 4310mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It is expected to compete with Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, and Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G after launch.

The Motorola Razr 40 price in Europe also starts at €900 (approximately Rs. 80,000).
The retail price of Nubia Flip 5G will vary significantly in different markets. However, Nubia has not revealed the launch details of the new flip phone.

Nubia Flip 5G features a 6.9-inch foldable OLED display with a resolution of 1,188 x 2,790 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a 1.43-inch overlay screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The circular overlay screen will allow users to access different apps without unfolding the phone. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and comes with 6GB and 8GB RAM options and 128GB and 256GB storage options. It features a dual-rail suspension hinge that is said to withstand more than 200,000 deployments.
In terms of optics, the Nubia Flip 5G comes with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit. For selfies and video chats, it has a 16-megapixel front camera. It comes with a 4,310mAh battery that supports 33W charging.
