Television star Adnan Khan is currently winning hearts with his prowess in the popular TV series Prachhand Ashok. The Colors TV show, which revolves around the magnificent love story of Mauryan Emperor Samrat Ashok and Princess Kaurwaki, is currently creating a buzz. Now, Adnan is starring in the eponymous role of Samrat Ashok and he opened up about his preparation for the role.

In an interview with news agency IANS, the actor revealed that he took “sword fighting lessons” before filming. Not only that, the actor also received martial arts training to enhance his flexibility. The report quoted Adnan Khan as saying: “Martial arts training is undoubtedly beneficial because it enhances flexibility. However, I believe that for this role, the swordsmanship courses I took are more critical.”

Adnan Khan went on to say that he always admired “sword fight scenes” on screen. While he always wanted to be able to perform these stunts so skillfully, it’s difficult for the human body to react in the same way without practice. The actor therefore credits his course with helping him achieve the emperor’s style.

Adnan Khan added: “We often watch movies and enjoy sword fight scenes and wish we could do the same. But once you hold the sword, your body doesn’t react the way you expect it to. So once you hold the sword, your body doesn’t react the way you expect it to. So , these lessons were invaluable in helping me develop the emperor’s style.”
