Actress Sonarika Bhadoria tied the knot with Vikas Parashar on February 18. The couple took their sacred vows at a private celebration held at Nahargarh Palace in Ranthambore. Vikas, a businessman by profession, and Sonalika got engaged in 2022 and had been preparing for the special day for months. While the photos from the celebration were grand, the actress also focused on sustainability.

Speaking to ETimes about her wedding, Sonalika said, “The highlight of the ceremony was my choice of outfit. I aimed to emphasize sustainable fashion, so I chose my mother’s wedding dress – which was a A timeless piece that seamlessly blends tradition with emotion. The intricate mehndi design reflects the various emotions intertwined in our marriage, weaving a tapestry of love on my hands.” For her mehendi , the actress opted for a green short kurta paired with an embellished sharara and matching dupatta. She added that her haldi ceremony was a very pure event and the guests thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails and sangeet ceremony.

Recently, Sonarika Bhadoria shared some clips from her wedding with Vikas Parashar. The video shows the two exchanging garlands during the Varmala ceremony. Sonarika chose a red and gold gown with floral embroidery for her wedding. She wore this half-sleeved choli which was embellished with ancient silk thread plaid pattern. A sheer red dupatta with a scalloped border on her head significantly enhanced her look. Vikas, on the other hand, wore a gold embroidered sherwani and matching pajama paired with a beige safa.

Earlier, the actress told DigiTimes that she and Vikas have been dating for around eight years. She shared: “When he proposed to me in the Maldives in May 2022, it was just the two of us. Our families were so happy for us, but they also wanted to be a part of the celebration.” Since they both love the beach, Roka ceremony is held in Goa. Initially, they planned to get married on the beach, but later changed the destination.

Sonarika Bhadoria first appeared in the TV series Tum Dena Saath Mera in 2011. She shot to fame playing the role of Goddess Parvati in the film Devon Ke Dev Mahadev starring Mohit Raina. The actor’s Telugu debut film “Jadoogadu” was released in 2015. She returned to Hindi television in 2018, most notably starring in Ishq Mein Marjawan.
