Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Amanatullah Khan left the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Delhi after midnight on Friday after being questioned by the agency in a money laundering case involving his deputy Related to alleged irregularities during the chairmanship of the Delhi Waqf Board.

The AAP MLA reached the ED office around 11:00 am on Thursday and was questioned by the ED for more than 12 hours. The agency asked and recorded his statement in connection with the case.

Amanatulah Khan said: “I was summoned (by the Education Department) for questioning; the Supreme Court directed me to appear before the court, so I came at 11:00 am. I was questioned and my statement was recorded , I am leaving now,” ED asked after speaking to ANI.

The AAP MLA also claimed that central agencies have been urging “him to resign and oppose Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal”.

“I want to tell the Okhla public that the central agencies have been hounding and provoking me for the past two years. They have been trying to make me resign. Recently, the education ministry had filed charges against four people and a company in connection with alleged money laundering by Amanat Ullah Khan when he was chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board.
