Srinagar, May 10: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced the re-determination of admission tests for students from Jammu and Kashmir to be held on 10-11 May 2025 at the request of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and in view of the prevailing situation.
Education Minister J&K Sarkar, Ms. Sakina Itu informed about the development through a tweet on the social networking site ‘X’, “In view of the ongoing situation, Jamia Millia Islamia will resume the entry test for students of Jammu and Kashmir for Jammu and Kashmir students.
Jamia Millia Islamia’s entrance tests for the session 2025-26 began on 26 April 2025 and are scheduled to be completed by 31 May 2025.
The entry tests of some programs are scheduled on 10th and 11 May, 2025.
However, for the remaining students, admission tests will be held at the given date and time (May 10–11, 2025).
