At least four people died after being run over by an express train outside Gamariya station in Jharkhand’s Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Thursday evening.
According to the news agency report, all the victims were residents of a slum near the incident site. PTI,
Tatanagar Regional Railway Manager Abhishek Singhal said that the victims were crossing the railway track when the Puri-bound Utkal Express passed them at 6.55 pm.

Police said that local police and RPF teams reached the spot and started the rescue operation. Singhal said services of Vande Bharat Express, Duronto and some other trains have been affected due to the accident.
