Web Desk, 21/05/2025

The first of the seven all-party parliamentary delegations has begun on a tour of five countries in East and Southeast Asia under Operation Sindoor. The delegation of JD (U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha includes representatives of major political parties including BJP, Congress, TMC and CPI (M).

The delegation left for Tokyo from New Delhi on Wednesday and will visit five countries: Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

Shiv Sena MP Srikanth Shinde, who is leading another group, arrived at the Delhi Airport. The delegation will visit UAE, Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Sierra Leon. This 8-member delegation also includes BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, BJP MP Atul Garg, BJD MP Sasamit Patra, BJP Rajya Sabha MP and senior advocate Manan Kumar Mishra, BJP leader SS Ahluwalia, Iml MP at Mohammad-Bashar and Ambassador Sujan Chinoy.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal emphasized India’s commitment to “zero tolerance against terrorism”, saying that this outreach would confirm the country’s resolve to counter terrorism in all its forms.

Sharing a post on X, the Foreign Ministry (MEA) spokesman Randhir Jiswal said, “Zero tolerance against terrorism! The first group of all party delegations led by JD (U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha left for 5-nation as part of India’s diplomatic outreach on Operation Sindhor.

The post stated, “The delegation will visit Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Japan and Singapore to confirm India’s resolve to counter terrorism in all its forms.”

JD (U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha and other members of the delegation, BJP MPs Aparajita Sarani and Brij Lal, Congress veteran Salman Khurshid, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, CPI (M) MP John Britis and former Ambassador Mohan Kumar, have clarified that they make it clear that they reveal PIS.

Prior to his visit to East and Southeast Asia, JD (U) MP Jha shared a post on X, which marked the departure of an all-party parliamentary delegation from New Delhi to Tokyo.

“Along with honorable members of all party parliamentary delegation at New Delhi Airport before visiting Tokyo for a visit to East and Southeast Asian countries. CPI (M) MP Mr. John Britis, former Ambassador Mr. Mohan Kumar,” Jha said on X.

He said, “The purpose of the yatra is to tell the whole world the truth about the action taken by India in response to Pakistan’s terrorism and operation vermilion.”

Jha said on Wednesday that the delegation’s job is to reveal the real face of Pakistan all over the world how it is promoting state-proposed terrorism.

“See, one of the biggest issues is that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is sending seven delegations to the world. Right now, our delegation is going to Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

He said, “We want to tell the matter to the whole world, and the second thing is about the nuclear bluff. We want to tell that we will not tolerate the terrorist activities achieved by Pakistan. We want to give the message that it is sufficient now.”

BJP MP Aparajita Sarani said on Wednesday that these diplomatic outreach trips will tell India’s joint stand against cross -border terrorism for the world.

“As a citizen of the country, I can say that sending seven delegations in about 33 countries by PM Modi’s government is a high-thought-out exercise, and the idea is to communicate on the cross-border terrorism of the international community India,” Sarangi told ANI.

Meanwhile, CPI-M leader John Britis said that the all-party delegation, who visited various countries to highlight Pakistan’s support for Pakistan’s terrorism on the global stage, expressed the message of the nation against terrorism for the world community.

Speaking to ANI, Britis, who is a member of an all-party delegation for Japan and other East Asian countries, said that this is the first time the delegation is going to different destinations and has a big footprint, saying that the country is very important and relevant.

On Saturday, BJP MP Bridge Lal told ANI, “I have been told that with my groups, other leaders, Supriya Sule and Anurag Thakur, we are going. We will visit Qatar, Egypt, Ethiopia and South Africa. MEA will further inform us.

Hemung Joshi said on Wednesday that he had the support of the whole world in his fight against terrorism.
