Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said the era of a passive attitude towards terrorism is over, adding, “yeh Naya Bharat Bolta nahi hai, ghus kar maarta bhi hain”.

Addressing a public rally in support of Congress MP and BJP candidate Ghanshyam Lodhi in Rampur on Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the gathering Send New Year greetings.

“You must have seen Kartarpur Sahib. Pakistan, Congress was a hurdle but Prime Minister Modi opened the corridor in Kartarpur Sahib. Modi did everything and also built a magnificent Ram temple in Ayodhya. Highlighting India’s trajectory of change, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that before 2014, Indian passports lacked respect globally.

Chief Minister Yogi said: “There has been a significant change in the stance of the state, demonstrating a resolute response to threats including prompt air strikes.”

He urged voters to re-elect Gansham Lodhi citing his service record in Rampur.

Chief Minister Yogi mentioned the sacrifice of four Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh on December 26 for ‘Veer Bal Diwas’, construction of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor and the completion of the long-awaited Ram Temple in Ayodhya 500 years later. This is a clear example of the Modi government’s efforts to unite the country.

Emphasizing on moving away from caste-based politics, the Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to inclusive governance and ensuring that all citizens have access to government schemes as per their needs.

He stressed that resources belong to every Indian irrespective of caste, creed or religion.

“As per the motto of ‘Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas’, development is a priority for all without partiality. The Modi government aims to bring a smile to everyone through its inclusive policies,” he said.

The chief minister said that in the past, candidates disappeared from public view soon after winning elections and often talked about their families instead of development, which was in people’s interest.

He highlighted the transformative approach of the BJP’s Ghanshyam Lodhi, who was “driven by his simplicity and dedicated to the progress of Rampur”.

Chief Minister Yogi added: “The NDA alliance won four of the five Assembly seats in Rampur and all the elected representatives were actively involved in implementing development initiatives.”

Chief Minister Yogi emphasized Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a developed India and said that the third term of the Bharatiya Janata Party government will drive India towards prosperity.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the allocation of funds for setting up Rudra Vilas Sugar Factory and reiterated his commitment to realize the project.

Stressing on the need to adopt a proactive approach, he urged the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) as soon as possible to ensure timely implementation of the project.

Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of meeting the needs of farmers effectively. He directed all public representatives to prioritize development initiatives, stressing that a developed Uttar Pradesh contributes to the development of India and Rampur plays a key role in the progress of the state. Our vision is for everyone in Rampur to be respected and feel safe, ensuring the rights of vulnerable people are protected.

The event was attended by dignitaries including JPS Rathore and Baldev Singh Aulakh, as well as BJP district president Satyendra Sisodia. Also present at the meeting were BJP Rampur assembly candidate Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi, MLA Rajbala, Akash Saxena, Shafiq Ansah Shafiq Ansari and regional chairman Hansraj Pappu, among others.

The Lok Sabha polls will be held in seven phases starting from April 19. Uttar Pradesh, which has sent the highest number of MPs to the Assembly – 80 – will go to polls in all seven phases.
