Jeon Hye Jin, wife of late actor Lee Sun Kyun, died suddenly last year, leaving the entertainment industry and fans deeply saddened and shocked, and now she is ready to move on with her career. Following Lee’s death, there was much speculation about Quan Zhen’s return to the public sphere, particularly regarding her upcoming acting career. Recently, an official report from Sports Daily provided insight into Jeon Hye-jin’s upcoming efforts. One of the most anticipated developments is the revised release date for her film Mission: Time, which was previously delayed due to Lee Sun-kyun’s untimely death.

The film is currently scheduled to premiere in the second week of September, coinciding with the Chuseok Festival, a time of family gatherings and celebrations in South Korea. Mission: Time Cross was originally slated for release during the Lunar New Year holiday in February, but suffered an unexpected setback with the tragic news of Li’s passing. It is reported that Jeon Hye Jin will play an important role in the film.

“Mission: Time Travel” will be a riveting action film that revolves around Jiang Wu’s story. Jiang Wu is a former agent turned senior housewife played by Huang Zhengmin who hides his past from his wife. The ace detective Mei Sun, played by Yeom Jung Ah, misunderstands her husband’s secret, which leads to a series of complicated events and the plot becomes more complicated. The film attracted attention not only for its narrative but also for its esteemed cast, with Jeon Hye-jin and Jung Man-sik giving riveting performances.

In addition, the film’s posters, trailers and other promotional materials have also aroused public interest. The trailer features an intense gunfight scene between Hwang Jung-min and Yeom Jung-ah, showcasing the dynamic chemistry between the leads.

However, it remains to be seen whether Jeon Hye-jin will participate in the film’s promotions later this year.

The actress’ late husband Lee Sun-gyun was a Korean actor known for his memorable roles in Korean dramas and movies like “Helpless,” “Coffee Prince,” “Mr.” and “Parasite.” As confirmed by his agency, he passed away on the morning of December 27, allegedly committing suicide.
