A group of House Republicans has introduced a bill to rename Washington Dulles International Airport “Donald J. Trump International Airport” protector the report said.

Named after former U.S. Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, the airport was built in 1962 and is located in Virginia, near central Washington, DC.

The Republican presidential candidate served as the 45th President of the United States from 2017 to 2021.

Trump is currently locked in a rematch with President Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 US election.

The billionaire former president is facing a slew of cases, including civil lawsuits that claim he overestimated his net worth and business record to attract lenders and easily secure bank loans.

The court had previously ordered him to pay bail of $454 million, but a judge later gave him a chance to escape his predicament by allowing him 10 more days to pay a much smaller bail of $175 million.
