Budget airline IndiGo on Wednesday said “weather reasons” have forced it to cancel its Delhi-Deoghar flights on January 30 and 31.

The airline also said in a statement that it has offered affected passengers a number of options, including full refunds and rescheduling.

“Due to sudden deterioration in weather conditions around Deoghar airport, IndiGo flight 6E 2198 from Delhi to Deoghar on January 30 and January 31, 2024 has been cancelled,” IndiGo said in a statement.

Passengers can enjoy refreshments and choose between a full refund, an alternative flight segment or a rescheduled flight, according to the airline.

“We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to factors beyond the airline’s control,” IndiGo said in a statement.
