Gomez served prison time for burglary between 2011 and 2020, and he targeted mostly affluent communities in Florida. “I’ve always wanted a nice home. I mean, at least a million dollar home. I always try to find a home that’s on a cul-de-sac so I don’t get lost there…or one that backs onto the street home,” Gomez admitted in the interview.

The former burglar further said her intimate knowledge of wealthy lifestyles helped her plan her crimes.

“I know a lot about how rich people live because my parents were both doctors. They would have had some kind of privacy fence. When I went into their backyard, I could hide behind it. I was completely hidden,” she says.

In addition, she carefully organizes her closet, studies pet behavior, deciphers security setup clues, and has advanced tools to easily enter homes.

After being released from prison, Gomez, who is now a TikTok influencer, offered advice to others on how to protect their homes from burglaries, pointing out what she used to look out for to see if targeting a house would be profitable. . “You can tell a lot from the outside of a house and that will give a burglar a lot of information.
