New Delhi:
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk shared a stunning video captured by Starship on Thursday as it completed its first successful space flight, its third attempt to re-enter Earth atmosphere.

When the spacecraft re-entered the atmosphere, temperatures reached north of 2,600 degrees Fahrenheit.
Elon Musk captioned the video: “Watch the super-hot plasma field intensify as Starship re-enters the atmosphere!”

As the spacecraft approached Earth, cheers from SpaceX headquarters nearly drowned out the comments.
But everything went south after that, and radio communication with the starship went blank. SpaceX later announced that the spacecraft was missing.
This is the first shot of re-entry into the atmosphere. Previous shots were taken by the crew inside the cabin.
Relaying data home through such a heated plasma field is extremely difficult. But SpaceX said Starship was managed using SpaceX’s Starlink internet satellites.

The spacecraft successfully sent the image a little more than 48 minutes after launch. The final footage shows it descending to an altitude of 77 kilometers.
Starship, the world’s most powerful rocket, flew farther and faster after taking off on Thursday on its third test flight. But SpaceX said it eventually disappeared while re-entering Earth’s atmosphere over the Indian Ocean.
