Hyderabad:
As part of the poll duty, election officials on Sunday inspected the bus used by former Telangana chief minister and BRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao during his visit to Suryapet district, about 170 km away.
Telangana will go to polls for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls on May 13, for which a Code of Conduct Standard (MCC) has been framed.
According to BRS sources, K Chandrasekhar Rao is on his way to Suryapet to inspect farmlands that are said to be facing drought conditions.
BRS sources said the vehicle was inspected at the Edulaparre tanda check post in the district.
Party sources said KCR is interacting with farmers to boost their confidence in view of the drought-like situation they are facing.
