Royal Challengers Bangalore’s famous star Virat Kohli arrives in Bangalore ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League season and RCB’s Unbox event. India and RCB stalwart batsman Kohli has been with the team since the inception of the IPL and led the team from the frontline for nine years. RCB announced Kohli’s arrival on Instagram with the caption: “Too much happened too fast and we are not slowing down. Is he there?” He was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Sunday night as he Must board a flight to Bangalore to participate in the upcoming IPL 2024 with his team. He was seen wearing a cool white T-shirt with a giant illustrated cute cartoon character with the word “Dad” written on it.
Kohli, who missed India’s 4-1 Test series victory over England, was recently blessed with a baby boy Akai. In 237 games for RCB in the IPL, Kohli amassed 7,263 runs at an average of 37.2 and a strike rate of 130.0, making him the leading scorer in the history of the tournament.

His best score of 113 came against Kings XI Punjab in 2016, which took RCB to 211/3. Kohli, who has yet to lift the IPL trophy with RCB in the last 16 seasons, will be looking to get his maiden title in the upcoming edition.
RCB have strengthened their squad in the IPL 2024 auction by acquiring foreign and Indian talent, which includes Alzarri Joseph, Yash Dayal, Tom Curran, Lockie Ferguson, Swapnil Singh and Saurav Chauhan.
