The 56-year-old actor was accompanied by his security detail.
The temple, called the BAPS Hindu Mandir, features more than 300 high-tech sensors to measure temperature and monitor seismic activity. No metal was used in the construction of the temple, and fly ash was used to fill the foundation.
This magnificent temple was built by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha on 27 acres of land in Abu Mreikhah, near Al Rahba on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway, at a cost of approximately Rs 7 billion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the largest Hindu stone temple in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday evening after signing multiple bilateral agreements with the UAE on Tuesday and attending a high-voltage ‘Ahlan Modi’ event with heavy participation from the Indian diaspora.
The Prime Minister will then travel to Doha to meet with Qatari leaders as part of his two-day visit to the Gulf region.
