Vivo V30, Vivo V30 Pro to launch in India today

Vivo V30 series confirmed to launch in India soon. The product line will include Vivo V30 base version and Vivo V30 Pro version. The regular Vivo V30 was initially launched in select global markets in early February. Hence, the Indian variant of the phone is expected to have similar specifications to its global counterpart. The Pro model will be launched in Thailand on February 28. The company has now also announced the India launch date of the Vivo V30 series.

Vivo has announced that the Vivo V30 series, including Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro, will be available in India on March 7 at 12 noon (Indian Standard Time). Earlier, the company confirmed that the phones will be available in at least three color options – Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Malachite Green.

Vivo V30 Pro is confirmed to feature a triple rear camera unit. The series also comes with an OIS-enabled portrait camera and Vivo’s signature Aura Light feature, which is a square LED flash unit placed on the rear panel. According to the promotion, the phones will also come with cameras powered by Zeiss.

The global version of the Vivo V30 comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, and a 6.78-inch 120Hz Full HD AMOLED display. In terms of optics, the phone comes with a 50-megapixel primary OV50E sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, and a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and Aura Light unit. The front camera also features a 50-megapixel sensor.

Meanwhile, the Vivo V30 Pro is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S18 Pro, which was launched in China in December 2023. The company has confirmed that the Vivo V30 Pro will feature a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit. Reports suggest it could include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 main sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX816 portrait camera, and a third sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens.

Vivo V30 Pro may come with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, similar to Vivo S18 Pro. It may also run FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box and feature a 6.78-inch 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED screen. The phone is likely to have IP54 dust and splash resistance rating. Vivo is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery in the phone with support for 80W wired fast charging.
