Meghan Markle has been warned to tread lightly as she eases into ex-friend Victoria Beckham’s territory.

The Duchess of Sussex recently launched her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, following in the footsteps of the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and fashion designers.

talking sunBrand expert Denise Palmer-Davies said the Spice Girls alum would be “secretly delighted” that Meghan’s business empire failed amid alleged animosity between them.

The Sussexes maintained a close friendship with David and Victoria Beckham until Prince Harry accused the singer of leaking their stories over the phone.

The couple has since become estranged from each other as they continue to avoid running in the same circles.

“I do wonder how Victoria might feel about Meghan essentially entering her market. She might think there’s enough room for them all and welcome competition,” the Borne Media executive claimed.

“But given their bickering, I wonder if she would be secretly happy if this did backfire. It’s the ultimate revenge isn’t it?”

Palmer-Davis also warned Suit Alums opposed to easy success noted: “Victoria Beckham and Gwyneth Paltrow have spent years building their businesses and perfecting their brands.

“Meghan will need a very good marketing and finance team to support her to make this work, and ultimately she will need to be grafted.

“Businesses these days can’t survive on name alone,” she added.
