As Meghan Markle embarks on a different journey of her own, Prince Harry appears to be making a big decision.
The Duke of Sussex has no motivation to pursue another commercial project after publishing his memoir Spare, according to royal author Tom Quinn.
Harry releases his explosive memoir, free, which last year became the fastest-selling non-fiction book in the UK. While Harry and Meghan have a joint deal with Netflix, the prince appears to have some different plans.
“It’s unlikely Harry will come up with a commercial project of his own, other than writing another book,” Quinn told Mirror.
“You only have to look at his various interviews to see that he probably just didn’t have the drive or the ability – that’s the result of growing up in a world where others did everything for you.”
The author also said that Harry and Meghan may publish a second book, but this time they intend to keep a friendly tone so as not to deepen the royal rift, especially after Kate Middleton shared her cancer news.
While Harry may be stepping back from business affairs, Meghan recently launched her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, which will tie in with her new cooking show on Netflix.
The brand will stock home décor items such as jams, marmalades and other lifestyle products.
