US man changes name to 'literally anyone', announces run for president

Mr. Ebe has filed with the Federal Election Commission

A Texas man legally changed his name to “anyone else” and launched a campaign to run for president of the United States. The 35-year-old, who was born Dustin Ebey, a teacher and Army veteran from North Richland Hills, Texas, changed his name to “literally anything Literally Anybody Else, and ran for president under that name. guardian the report said.

After a judge approved the name change, he obtained a new driver’s license and then submitted the necessary paperwork to run it.

“This has nothing to do with me, ‘literally anyone else,’ and more to do with it being an idea. We can do better in a presidential election with 300 million people,” he told Dallas ABC affiliate world wildlife society.

“There should really be some way out for people like me who are tired of the constant power grab between the two parties that does nothing good for the average person. This isn’t necessarily about me as a person but about anyone else. Human thoughts,” he added.

He said he wanted to change his name because he was dissatisfied with this year’s presidential candidates, Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

Mr. Ebe has filed an application with the Federal Election Commission. He stressed he was “not delusional” and understood getting enough signatures to appear on the ballot would be very challenging.

Under Texas law, applying to be placed on the ballot as an independent candidate requires the submission of a petition that requires 113,151 signatures from registered voters who did not vote in either Texas presidential primary.

“It’s going to be hard to do, but not impossible. I hope Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and then whoever else is down there,” he said.

His website reads: “Literally no one else is a human being, it’s a rallying cry.” Americans have long been victims of political parties that put party loyalty over governance. Together, let’s send this message to Washington: “You either represent or you are replaced.” America should not have to choose between the “King of Debt” (as he calls himself) and an 81-year-old man.
