Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni files nomination for Kheri Lok Sabha seat

Union Home Minister Ajay Kumar Mishra Teni on Thursday filed nomination papers for the Kheri Lok Sabha seat on the first day of nominations for the fourth phase of elections.

Independent candidate Naresh Singh Bhadauriya also filed his nomination for Khairy seat on the same day.

Ajay Mishra Teni with BJP district president Sunil Singh, Lakhimpur BJP MP Yogesh Verma) and others reached the collection office and submitted their nomination papers to the Returning Officer.

Elections for this seat will be held on May 13.

Ajay Mishra Teni won this seat in 2014 and 2019. He is running for the seat for the third time in a row.

His son Ashish Mishra is currently in jail for killing four protesting farmers and a local journalist over the three farm laws that were repealed in 2021. He is currently out on bail.
