Ukraine’s military reported on Monday that two of three Russian drones deployed in overnight attacks were destroyed.

The report did not include any information about the location of the interception or whether the third drone caused any damage.

In Russia’s Belgorod region on the border with Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that it foiled an attack by two Ukrainian drones.

Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that debris dropped by two drones in the village of Dolgoye caused damage to houses and power lines.

Ukraine’s presidential adviser Mykhaylo Podolyak said on Monday that the war will only continue to escalate as Russia devotes resources to the invasion, and that such a war has only a military solution.

Podolak reiterated Ukraine’s call for allies to help provide its military with more weapons to compete with Russia’s arsenal.

“It is still necessary to significantly expand military production so that Ukraine has the same number of weapons,” Podolak posted on social media. “The faster and more effectively, the better the situation will be.”
