Two Chinese nationals who entered Uttar Pradesh illegally were arrested from the Siddharth Nagar Kakrava post on the India-Nepal border on Tuesday.

The man was identified as Zhou Pulin, a native of Sichuan, China, and the woman was identified as Yuan Yuhan, a native of Chongqing, China.

The police also seized two Chinese passports, a Nepali tourist visa, mobile phones, two Chinese SIM cards and a total of 9 different types of cards in two small bags.

According to an official news report, “Two Chinese nationals, a woman and a man, were arrested while illegally entering India on March 26, 2024. Under Section 14(A) of the Foreigners Act, 1946, After completing the legal process, the FIR was registered at the local police station and the accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court.”‘
