Former US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Britain’s Prince Harry, who lives in the US with his wife Meghan Markle, may be deported after admitting to past drug abuse.

In an interview with UK News UK, Donald Trump was asked if Prince Harry would be granted any “privileges” if he was found to have lied on his visa application.

“No. We have to see if they knew about the drugs and if he lied, they would have to take appropriate action,” Trump said.

Asked what this “appropriate action” meant, Trump responded: “I don’t know. You’d have to tell me… You’d think they would have known this a long time ago.”

Prince Harry admitted to using cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms in the past in his memoir, “Back Up.” The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, has since sued the Department of Homeland Security to obtain his immigration records.

For the uninitiated, people applying for a U.S. visa are required to disclose whether they have a history of drug abuse.

This isn’t the first time Donald Trump has targeted Prince Harry. In 2022, Trump said in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan that the prince “got whipped like no one he’d ever seen.”
