Tom Brady will reportedly be redeemed in a new Netflix special Tom’s Roast Brady, announced by the streaming service on April 22.
According to PeopleThe event, hosted by Kevin Hart and dubbed “The Greatest Roast of All Time”, will air on May 5.
In a press statement shared via Netflix, the upcoming special will feature “an astonishing team of rosters from across the comedy, sports and entertainment worlds.”
The statement said Tom will face a witty panel of critics next month in a Netflix special, also part of “Netflix’s Joke Fest,” which will be streamed live on Netflix from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
In a trailer about his upcoming show, Tom is seen walking away from LA’s iconic Forum as the building is jokingly set on fire.
“Humans. Arena. Roast of Tom Brady,” Kevin said in the voiceover, “No helmet. no mercy. No Brady Rule.
Meanwhile, the seven-time Super Bowl champion keeping a sense of humor about his place in history and his accomplishments is still part of his game.
In one clip Tom said, “Wait, what did I do?” To which Kevin replied, “The truth is, you’ve won too much, Tom, you’ve let others have their turn.”
Tom added in the trailer, “I am unstoppable. let’s go!”
