Those opposing Andhra Pradesh's special status have joined forces: Jagan Reddy

Amaravati:

YSRCP president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday said TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have come together again over their failure to grant special category status to the state.

The YSRCP chief pointed this out at a public meeting at Prathipadu in Guntur district as part of his ‘Memanta Siddham’ (We are all ready) election canvassing bus tour.

Reddy said: “The opposition alliance led by Chandrababu Naidu-Pawan Kalyan-Narendra Modi failed to get special status for Andhra Pradesh and ended up with Super Six and Super Seven. Coming together again in the name of (the program).”

He appealed to the people of the state whether they were ready to support the YSRCP government, which had “implemented historic welfare measures” in education, health, farmer assistance, women empowerment, etc.

Reddy said that no welfare scheme was implemented during the previous TDP government unless bribes were paid, which was not the case in the YSRCP government.

The CM said the YSRCP government had disbursed Rs 270 crore through the direct welfare transfer scheme alone and asked people if they were ready to vote for the ruling party in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

He pointed out that Naidu had not fulfilled even one of the promises he had made, such as waiving farm loans of Rs 87,612 crore, self-help group loans of Rs 14,205 crore, etc., which included depositing Rs 25,000 on the birth of a girl. According to Mahalakshmi scheme.

Furthermore, he said the opposition leaders had failed to fulfill several other promises, such as providing jobs to every family, providing unemployment benefits of Rs 2,000, etc.

Considering this alleged backdrop of Naidu’s previous regime, Reddy appealed to the people to become his star activist to save the future of the country and the poor.

On the 13th day of the bus trip, Reddy visited villages such as Sattenapalle, Pericherla, Nallapadu and Yetukuru.

Reddy embarked on a 21-day campaign bus tour from Idupulupaya in Kadapa district to Icchapuram in Srikakulam district.

The Andhra Pradesh assembly elections are scheduled to be held on May 13 along with the Lok Sabha polls.
