Think, understand, then take the right decision: Rahul Gandhi urges voters

Rahul Gandhi addresses people ahead of Lok Sabha polls that their future is in their hands

New Delhi:

Amid the Lok Sabha polls, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today said India is at a “critical juncture” and urged people to realize the difference between “building the nation” and “destroying the nation”.

In a Hindi post on X, Mr Gandhi addressed the people ahead of the Lok Sabha polls that their future is in their hands and they have to think, understand and then take the right decision.

The former Congress president said the country was currently at a “critical moment”.

Mr. Gandhi said that all sections of society must realize the difference between those who “build the nation” and those who “destroy it”.

He said that the Congress and the Bloc India meant first job confirmation for youth, MSP guarantee for farmers, millionaire for every poor woman, minimum Rs 400 per day for workers, caste census and economic survey and guarantee of constitution and civil rights.

“Moreover, the BJP means: confirmed unemployment, debt burden for farmers, insecurity and rightslessness for women, forced and helpless labour, discrimination and exploitation of the weaker sections, dictatorship and false democracy,” Mr Gandhi said.

“Your future is in your hands, think, understand and make the right decisions,” he said.

The Lok Sabha polls will be held in seven phases starting from April 19. Counting will take place on June 4.
