Modified version Skoda Octavia will make its global debut this month.

Ahead of the official launch, a short video has been released on Skoda’s official YouTube channel teasing the updated sedan.

The Czech automaker has also shared several images of the 2024 Octavia on the Internet, giving an in-depth look at its styling and engine configuration.

According to Skoda, the latest model will receive slight exterior changes to provide a modern look. However, the company has not revealed any information about its features. Skoda Octavia facelift is expected to be launched in the Indian market soon after its global launch.

The upcoming Skoda Octavia borrows styling cues from the new-generation Superb and Kodiaq. The grille design has been improved and the bumper has been updated. The headlights use LED units and split LED daytime running lights with an avant-garde silhouette. The hexagonal front grille and side profile also have sharp contours, making it look crisper.

The front fascia is also expected to be similar to that of the Superb and Kodiaq, which feature a column-mounted gear selector on the steering wheel, a digital knob and a larger touchscreen for the infotainment system.

The design of the windows has been modified and stylish chrome accents have been added. The taillights and bumper are also expected to see some changes, while the font on the rear of the car will also be revised.

The previous Skoda Octavia was launched in international markets with both petrol and diesel engine options. The makers may continue to use the same combination for this facelift avatar. The 2024 Octavia facelift is expected to feature the same powertrain as the updated Skoda Kamiq. The base version may come with a turbocharged 1-liter three-cylinder engine, while the top-end version may come with a four-cylinder engine.

Skoda has stopped selling the Octavia sedan in the Indian market. They currently only offer Slavia services in this segment. This model was launched two years ago, replacing the Rapid. According to reports, if Skoda decides to launch the upcoming Octavia in the country, only the petrol variant will be available.
