The Mumbai Indians (MI) team made a short trip to Jamnagar ahead of their IPL 2024 match against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. Led by new captain Hardik Pandya, MI has lost all three matches so far. With reports suggesting a possible feud between Hardik and former captain Rohit Sharma, all seems not to be going well in the MI camp. MI replaced Rohit with Hardik as captain and fans were not happy with the move.

Hardik had to face the wrath of fans who booed throughout the match and trolled social media.

Amid all the rumours, Rohit and Hardik were all smiles as they greeted each other during the MI Players’ Day in Jamnagar.

Players were seen speedboating near the beach. MI uploaded a video of the same on Instagram.

“This is a way to relax and enjoy quality team time,” MI wrote in the video.

Meanwhile, former England pacer Stuart Broad also spoke about the dismal form of five-time champions Mumbai Indians. He said the only way Mumbai Indians could stop what was happening inside the stadium – with fans constantly mocking captain Hardik Pandya – was by winning the game.

“To be honest, as a player it doesn’t bother you at all. It’s a big part of international and top-level sport,” Broad said.

“You don’t necessarily feel that environment and hostility at your home stadium. But I don’t think that atmosphere affects you as a mature performer. You still have to go out there and develop your skills.” “Ultimately, Mumbai Indians are a winning team. They have a winning mentality but they are not winning. That is the most difficult thing they are facing right now. All they need to do is get back to the winning ways,” he said .
