Srinagar, June 11: Health and Education Minister Sakina Itu said on Wednesday that the government is monitoring the prevailing weather conditions and according to the situation will take calls for the early summer breaks for schools.
Speaking to reporters here, Itu said, “The school education department is monitoring the weather conditions. If we found that early summer breaks, we will call accordingly.”
“It’s only two days of the summer wave. If the heatwave continues, we will take a call accordingly,” he said.
Regarding tourism, Itu said, “Tourism is very famous in Kashmir and we want more and more tourists to come here and enjoy nature.”
Meanwhile, the minister said that the committee has completed the reservation report near it which will be presented in the cabinet in which it will be discussed.
